I say go for it! It's your wedding, so you might as well register for what you want, right? A lot of people around here (Oregon) register for camping gear, etc., so why not register for art? Works for me!
i think using your etsy wishlist as a registry is AWESOME!...but I'm also an etsy seller so I might be bias :)
Joking aside, I hate logging on to a wedding registry to see boring, ugly things, I would be so excited to attend a wedding and get them a lovely handmade gift I know they would love.
There are sites that let you create a "Universal Registry" that lets you add any link from any website! I say go for it.
What a fantastic idea! I love the idea of an etsy gift registry. They should make an official one.
And as a gift buyer, I never mind where people register so long as I know that I'm getting them something they love!

Awesome idea! When my husband and I were married, we registered for a Kitchen-aid stand mixer too. Nobody actually bought one for us, but we were able to buy one ourselves with gift cards and money we received! Wonderful gift! :)
