It's been a while since I did a Thankful Thursday post, but I'm planning to bring them back to the blog. Today's is almost late, but I'm getting to it just in time!
Today I am thankful for...
// two cuddly cats // my maid of honor who is always willing to listen to me talk about my wedding, so I don't drive everyone else crazy // leftover soup // long naps when I'm feeling under the weather // my gorgeous, mountain-filled daily drive // my family // unending Harry Potter humor on Pinterest // one of my bridesmaids, who just had a beautiful, healthy baby girl! // my incredibly talented friend who is designing all of our wedding stationery // quiet corners of the library on campus // gummy vitamins // messy hair // piles of blankets on the bed during naps //

You always have a good list of things. Looking at things like this always tends to knock me down a peg or two from that day's previous actions. Admittedly, I did not have a good day today. I'm very much overwhelmed at work, and I do not enjoy being alone in my apartment ... without family, friends, Aaron... However, there are many things to be happy for. I HAVE friends. I HAVE a family. I have a wonderful, loving, Aaron, and have for nearly three years now. I have a "ghetto car" that has yet to fail me, and a cupboard full of food. I have a camera. I have sunshine reflecting off the Mason jars I keep on a shelf. I have interesting stationery paper and a journal book in which I keep my scheduling. So many little things that I shouldn't forget, no matter how the rest of my day is.
Also, I see your Gregorian Chant thing. Hahaha. I took a Music Appreciation class at community college and we had to do the same thing! :)
I am thankful for coffee, a good book and orange juice :) Hah!

Yummy coffee in the morning with Jen (Sumatra coffee with Cinnamon Vanilla creamer, yum!) Cuddly kitties and a sweet cockatiel, playing The Sims Social on Facebook (the only FB game I play! :P) and tax season! I love tax season, since so far we've been lucky and we're getting money back. I did a kitchen happy dance while making the above mentioned coffee. ^_-
I'm thankful for my wonderful little family that fits me so well. I'm also thankful for heated blankets during the cold, coffee to wake me up, long underwear to keep my comfy and warm and good books to read in bed.
p.s. btw you have the same bed as me. I see that thing EVERYwhere.
Basically, I am thankful that its Friday. Best day of the week!
I am also thankful for gummy vitamins! They can brighten up your whole day.
Love this. And HP pinboards. I kind of inundated Pinterest with them yesterday (like you didn't notice...)Haha.I am grateful for Sundays. Just church, my man, and homemade wheat bread. My only non-homework day.
