Jordan and I both had parents visiting this weekend. My dad came to stay with us Thursday to Saturday, and Jordan's mom and her husband were here Friday through Sunday. We spent our days giving tours of the town and surrounding area, playing board games, telling stories and catching up, and being overly amused by our silly cats. It's nice having company; I have an excuse to buy fresh flowers and cook a ton of food (not that I don't do those things already!).

ReplyDeleteI love having family in for the same reasons. Its the fun of playing hostess, but the comfort and togetherness of people dear to you. I love the act of cooking and feeding people I love.
