Weekend

I love productive weekends. I mean, I love lazy weekends too, but productive ones always feel great. We spent Saturday doing some wedding planning things and looking at a truck that Jordan wants to buy. The picture of us in front of the mirror was after we got a little restless while Jordan was trying on vests, so he decided to pose as a t-rex in every picture I took. Then I took us on a little detour to look at the adoptable animals at Petco, because really, who can skip that? Naturally, I found the sweetest little cat that I wanted, but Jordan said no. Apparently two longhaired cats is enough for him.

After what felt like the millionth trip to Home Depot, we headed home. Then we spent Sunday working in our new yard, digging up weeds and getting the spot where we're going to plant our vegetable garden all ready. This translates to: I spent all of Sunday afternoon picking rocks out of a big patch of dirt. Clearly we already had a very successful rock garden left by the previous owners. Then we had dinner outside, even though we were sunburned, because it was just too nice out to be anywhere else.
