Saturdays Are for Errands

Thursday, July 26, 2012

As always happens with disposable cameras, we ended our trip with a few exposures left unshot. While we drove to Pocatello for a day of errands, including dropping of our cameras to get developed, I shot the rest of the pictures along our drive.

Another highlight from our day of running errands: we bought a new bed! We've been sleeping on my mattress, which is a full, for years. Jordan is 6'4". Just take a moment to think about how little room that leaves for me! We decided months ago that we'd use some of our wedding gift money to buy a king sized bed, and on Saturday we did just that. FINALLY! It gets here in a week and my back is already feeling more relaxed at the thought of sleeping a full night without curling into a little ball (even though I'm sure I'll do that no matter what size bed we have).

Jordan also bought some tools that he "needed" and even used his new drill to hang up a shelf in our dining room. Now we have a great bar shelf that I'll share pictures of soon. I also got some Toms shoes that I've "needed" forever. I still can't get over how comfy they are. Oh, and then I won a round of trivia at Buffalo Wild Wings. Like usual. All in all, I'd say it was a pretty productive day!

  1. I love mirror shots when driving. :D They are so reflective (I mean in a memorable way... not mirror-like, haha) and pretty. Also, I have a picture of Jen and I holding hands while driving too! :P

  7. King size beads are SO worth it. My husband and I slept in a full for the first few months and we are much chubbier than either of you! Haha. It was a nightmare, but getting that king felt like freedom!
