sweater: Forever 21 // bangle: J.Crew // glasses: Firmoo
One of my favorite things about switching my major to a more creative field is my classmates. The people are wonderful and thoughtful, and a lot of them have great style! Every day in class, I'm inspired to try a new look, check out a new pattern on leggings, or experiment with colors.
This sweater is a different silhouette than what I'd normally wear. It's a little looser than what I usually buy, almost to the point of being baggy. But it drapes beautifully and I love the color blocking along the edges.
These glasses are still my favorites, too. Wearing contacts and staring at screens and books all day just isn't for me. I've actually been getting a lot of migraines since classes started, but since I switched to wearing my glasses, I haven't had a single headache! Miracles!
P.S. This is my homework hair. As soon as I'm home for the day, my hair gets thrown into a ridiculous bun. I kind of love it.

Color blocking, whether it be a structured dress for my office or a comfy sweater, has become one of my favorite "styles" lately.
ReplyDeleteI also have migraine problems with glasses/contacts and going back and forth. The worst part is the light sensitivity issues though :/
Adore this post!

College was always full of inspiration; things to look at, people to admire and talk to. I miss that, I have to admit. :) That sweater looks great! The color blocking definitely works for you. And you look fabulous in those glasses. I used to wear my contacts all. the. time. I hated my glasses. However, my astigmatism keeps me from wearing them now, so I've gotten sort of used to wearing only glasses. I certainly have less headaches, too!
ReplyDeleteI used to hate wearing glasses too, but it's so not worth the headaches! Plus these ones are cute, so I don't mind too much.
DeleteThat's pretty much how my hair ends up all the time. No shame!
ReplyDeleteNope! :)
DeleteYou look lovely, and I love your fun hair bun! XO
ReplyDeleteThanks Chelsea! :)

ReplyDeleteYou look great! I too am all about the high (usually funky) bun whenever I'm at home :)
ReplyDeleteLove a loose sweater/skinny jeans combo - you look adorable! Love the bangle too! :)
