Remember the last time I updated you on my garden? Well, it was a while ago! Not much happened during the entire month of August, except that my lettuce and spinach bolted and tasted awful after that. Well, we've had cooler weather the past week and it has done miracles for this garden.
Not only do we have tons of squash and spinach growing, but we've got roughly one million green tomatoes. And I already made one batch of zucchini bread yesterday from a giant zucchini I discovered growing. I don't even know how we'll deal with all of these. Friends and family are going to be getting a lot of produce from us in the next few weeks!
I'm just glad anything at all grew from the garden. There were a lot of plants that failed and I was seriously worried that I would kill everything. It's nice to know that I'm not quite the worst gardener ever!

You've got a green thumb for sure!. I envy your kale! wow all the stuff you can make w/that little victory garden.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That is definitely an impressive garden. I definitely can't wait to have a yard to grow my own things in. I just think it'll be easier than doing everything in pots like I tried (and failed at) this year.
ReplyDeleteI can't grow anything in pots either! Even flowers on the front steps. For some reason, if plants are in pots, I kill them.
Deletethis looks great! I wish my garden had taken off like yours

This is awesome! I wish I had patience to grow a garden. It always seems like such a good idea but the actual doing of it is so much work!!
