Searching You, Searching Meeee

Every once in a while, I like to browse through some of the search terms that led people to my blog. Inevitably, I find some really hilarious ones. Once again, I'd like to share those with you. This time, with commentary!
so much room for activities .gif. I understand why you would search for this, and I respect you for it. Here ya go.
can you hot glue underwear. Short answer: probably. Long answer: please don't.
sad tumblr photography. I really hope my blog did not help on this one. I get a weird amount of searches for this and can't understand them at all. If you're feeling sad, try reading this tumblr instead. It's way better than browsing depressing images of people lounging in beds on rainy days.
college girls in denim shorts. Thanks, creepy search person. Now I will definitely never wear denim shorts to class in case you go to my school.
do you add milk when hot for an iced latte? Nope. Fill a glass half-full of cold milk, then add one to two shots of espresso and the flavor of your choice. Fill the rest with a little more milk and some ice, however much you want.
oh, mishka by michelle. I'm assuming this was typed by someone I know in real life who had heard that I blog. In that case, hi!
elbow backwards. Yes, mine does go that way.
9 inch height difference. Advice for anyone who is the shorter of the pair: people who only know you through photographs will assume you're really short, even when you're 5'7" and your husband is just extra tall, dang it!
birthday cat. Cubby's birthday is soon, Teddy's is in January. I'm assuming you wanted to know when my cats' birthdays are.
bozeman john mayer house. Yes, his house is there. However, if he has not personally given you his address, it's probably safe to assume that you don't need it. In fact, I bet he prefers it that way.
i love lots of freckles. Me too, friend. Me too. (Fun fact: my Granny has always told me that freckles are really angel kisses. And if Granny says it, it's fact.)
And my favorite:
hogwarts letter for 11 year old muggles. They specified "for muggles." Like it was a necessary thing.

HAHA!!! Loved your commentary. I check mine like, once a day because I'm constantly getting fun hits. Not really many "weird" hits, though I've gotten a few. Let's see, here are 10 most popular hits:
ReplyDelete1. Galaxy TOMs - I found some on Etsy, posted about them and this has gained me 1,265 hits, haha. Luckily, I always link back so hopefully that seller has gotten a LOT of traffic!
2. Smash Book Ideas - I posted about 'em while learning what smashing was all about.
3. Dreamcatcher TOMs - I think I sense a theme. People love TOMs!
4. How to style dreadlocks - Well... I don't really know how to style them, but I find them unique and pretty and awesome, so I have posted pictures of them!
5. angie bailey 31 gifts - um... I'll be glad to take them, haha.
6. Beating sadness - YUP! I posted a little guide on how to turn your day around, so I hope those people find tis useful!
7. Birchbox August - has gotten me a few people coming by! I like doing Birchbox reviews. ^_^
8. Colors in the old west - No clue, except I live in the west and love its colors, haha.
9. Abinsthe pill box - No clue here either. But Absinthe is yummy.
10. "Lariats and Lavender" spelled normally and pretty much every variation of!
Haha the 31 gifts one is my favorite!
DeleteI love this. so funny.
ReplyDeleteHaha. I can't believe some of those searches. That's hilarious. Except for the super creepy shorts one
ReplyDeleteRight? I'm a little bummed that google even sent them to my blog!
DeleteYou get a lot of hits for your "Muggle" Hogwarts letter! :) I'm glad people still search for that. Some of the search words are so strange, but are so hilarious. Really, why would anyone WANT to hot glue underwear? (And, firstly, what would you hot glue to them anyway?) During my last semester of school, I had a stage makeup class I was taking. I was doing research for my final project, and I ended up posting photos of it. (Roy Lichtenstein & subsequent makeup, have you.) I have gotten nearly 4,000 hits from those words alone! Crazy.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha I should look at mine, oh boy !:)
ReplyDeleteHaha I CLEARLY relate to the height difference issue... I'm 5'8" and Radley's 6'7" — same thing! :)
