It definitely feels like fall around here! We got Halloween decorations up, which I could not be more excited about. My mom always made such a big deal about decorating for holidays, so it's fun to do the same now that Jordan and I own a house. Especially since it's our first set of holidays here!
We were pretty productive in general this weekend. We got some of my things moved into my little house near campus in Pocatello so I won't have to drive an hour there and back each day. Jordan split a lot of the firewood that's been behind our shed, and I weatherstripped all the doors. Hopefully our front door won't feel so drafty this winter.
Now we're relaxing. Football is on TV and Jordan built a roaring fire in our fireplace. Even the kitties are extra cuddly today, which is always wonderful. :)

sounds like a wonderful weekend! i love the decorations! i absolutely love fall! xo
ReplyDeleteAwww...the house looks so festive! My mom was always big into decorating for all the holidays too. So every time a holiday nears, it's kind of a comfort thing to decorate the house or apartment. Are you getting excited for trick-or-treaters already? Anyway, your weekend sounds kind of comfortably happy, actually. Have a good week at school!
ReplyDeleteNo trick or treaters yet. And we probably won't be able to do trick or treating because I'll be out of town for class and Jordan will be working that night. :(
DeleteFall is always my favorite. I decorated our house last weekend and love it!
